Solar Energy
Solar panel electricity systems, also known as solar photovoltaics (PV), capture the sun's energy
using photovoltaic cells. The cells doesn't need direct sunlight to work, they can still generate some electricity
on a cloudy day. The cells convert the sunlight into electricity, which can be used to run household appliances and lighting.

How do solar panels cells work?
Photovoltaic cells are made from layers of silicon. When light shines on the cell it creates an electric field across the layers.
The stronger the sunshine, the more electricity is produced. Groups of cells fixed together in panels that
can be placed on the roof. The power of a PV cell is measured in kilowatts peak (kWp). That's the rate at which
generates energy at peak performance in full direct sunlight during the summer. PV cells come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Most PV systems are made up of panels that fit on top of an existing roof.
Costs
The average domestic solar PV system is 4kWp and on average costs between £6,000 and £9,000.
Costs have fallen significantly over the last year.
Consumption
According to Clean Techniqua this is a diagram that shows us the countries/states that consume photovoltaic. Germany consume the most solar power because they signed a contract with feed-in-tarrifs. The feed-intarrifs encourage Germany to use the energy technologies, that's why the solar power has been growing a fair amount lately. Italy relays on photovoltaic cells because they got motivated from other countries, and also the costs increase, so it's getting cheaper to build a photovoltaic cell. Czech Republic also signed a contract with feed-in-tarrifs.

Strategy
I think that that countries should sign a contract with some companies like feed-in-tarrifs to build more photovoltaic cells, and other renewable sources.
Another thing is that it's safe and it doesn't produce pollution after it's built.
